TJ started “live-blogging” city council meetings in 2009. He’d sit in the council meetings and type out what was going on so residents could get a summary of what our government was doing. Over the years the city has added video of the meetings and excelled at transparency of our council meetings. Today, TJ does a video summary called “Compact Council” as a “Facebook Live” most Tuesday evenings at 7 to recap the week in local government.
